Con brio

Con brio is a musical term that directs a spirited tempo, as Beethoven marked the first movement of the Eroica symphony. I try to live with spirit, packing a lot of different experiences into each day. Now that I have retired from teaching, I enjoy reflecting on what I have seen and heard and making connections. With this blog I seek to create a self-portrait and foster substantive communication with my friends and relatives.
